Garn Fawr
GARN FAWR is an old favourite of mine, and I have painted it many times. This view is from the car park, and shows the two cottages which belonged to John Piper, The one to the right was his studio, and to the left was his 'living cottage', complete with 'crog-loft', a kind of sleeping balcony in the eaves, reached by a ladder. I used to think it was ok for John, who was very tall, but I wondered how easy it was for Myfanwy, who was quite a bit shorter.
