Giclee Prints
We have invested heavily in our own giclee equipment, and have our own printmaking workshop given over exclusively to the production of these images.
They are individually printed, which is why we are sometimes able to produce them to size, to suit your individual requirements. Giclee printing has been around for some years now, and has become widely accepted by astute collectors, especially since David Hockney’s giclee work has become publicly available. We pride ourselves on having been at the forefront of this medium since spending over thirty-thousand pounds on the finest equipment we could buy.
We can also print on paper or canvas. A print on canvas, when varnished with a UV protective type varnish, is virtually indistinguishable from an original painting, but because of the time involved, and because they are sized and produced to order, virtually ‘one-offs’, they are quite expensive, (approximately twice to three times the price of the same size on paper).
